Where to Stay
Ein Bokek is the Dead Sea's resort hub — luxury spas, mineral pools, and direct beach access at every price point.
Nearly all Dead Sea hotels are concentrated in Ein Bokek, a purpose-built resort zone on the southern shore. The area features a free public beach, a pedestrian promenade, and a small commercial center. Most hotels include spa facilities with sulfur pools, mineral baths, and professional treatments using Dead Sea products. Budget travelers can find hostels near Ein Gedi and Masada to the north.

Booking Tips
Best Time to Book
Peak season is Jewish holidays (September-October) and Passover (March-April) — book 2-3 months ahead. Best rates are found in January-February and June-August (hot but great prices).
Half-Board vs. B&B
Ein Bokek has very few independent restaurants, so half-board (breakfast + dinner) is strongly recommended. Most hotels offer excellent buffet spreads. Full-board is available at some properties.
Spa Inclusions
Most luxury hotels include basic spa access (pools, sauna, hammam) in the room rate. Professional treatments (massages, mud wraps, facials) cost extra but can be booked at reception.
