VisitIsrael.site is an independent, English-language travel guide to Israel. We cover all 11 regions of the country — from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv to the Dead Sea, the Galilee, Eilat and the Negev — with in-depth attraction guides, day-by-day itineraries, where-to-stay recommendations, and practical planning guides.
How we research
Our guides are researched from primary sources — official tourism boards, national-park and antiquities authorities, and the bodies that administer individual sites — and updated as opening hours, fares and access change. Every page shows its last-updated date. On religious and contested sites we aim for historical accuracy and equal respect for Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and we keep political questions factual and focused on practical travel.
How the site is funded
Visit Israel is free to read and funded by affiliate links. When you book a hotel, tour, transfer, car, eSIM or insurance policy through one of our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes the price you pay, and it does not influence our recommendations.
We are not a marketplace: we do not show live availability or real-time pricing. Affiliate links open the partner’s own site, where you complete the booking under their terms. Every monetised card carries an inline, FTC-compliant disclosure — see our affiliate disclosure for the full list of partners and how it works.
How the site is built
The site is fully static (built with Astro) and hosted on Vercel for speed and reliability. It stores no user accounts and does not track individual visitors — see our privacy page for details.
