How to Reach Us
Visit Israel is small enough that one inbox handles everything except accessibility-specific feedback (which routes to a named coordinator on the accessibility statement page). We reply to most messages within five Israeli business days. Friday afternoons and Saturdays are quiet — that is when the country is on Shabbat.
General Editorial
Factual corrections, suggestions for sub-destinations we should cover, religious-site-naming questions, or anything else editorial: email hello@visitisrael.site. Please cite the page URL and quote the specific sentence you are flagging. Travel guides drift — historic opening hours, transit details, and prices shift every few months, and we appreciate every flag.
Affiliate Partners and Press
For affiliate-programme inquiries, joint-marketing proposals, or press requests, use the same inbox with Affiliate or Press in the subject line. We do not negotiate paid placements, sponsored sections, or “do-follow” link insertions — every monetised link on this site goes through one of our eleven disclosed affiliate programmes (see affiliate disclosure), and the cards carry FTC-compliant inline disclosures.
Accessibility Feedback
Accessibility-specific feedback — a keyboard trap, a missing alt text, a Hebrew screen-reader announcement that does not read correctly, a contrast ratio that fails on your display — routes to our named accessibility coordinator. The coordinator name, phone number, and email are published on the accessibility statement page, in line with IS 5568:2020 / WCAG 2.1 AA and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Act.
Photography Inquiries
If you own the copyright on an image we use on this site and either the credit is wrong or you want it removed, email the inbox above with Photo credit in the subject line. We will respond within two business days; correct ledgers can be updated faster than that, and we treat photo-credit corrections as priority work.
What We Do Not Do
-
We do not book trips for you. Affiliate links open the partner site (Booking.com, Viator, Civitatis, GetYourGuide, Skyscanner, RentalCars, SafetyWing, Hostelworld, DiscoverCars) where you complete the transaction under their terms. If your booking has a problem — refund disputes, no-show issues, voucher questions — contact the partner directly. Their customer-service teams have the data; we do not.
-
We do not provide travel-advisory advice. If you have specific safety questions, check your government’s foreign-affairs advisory for Israel. We link to practical safety norms inside individual guides, but those are not substitutes for official guidance.
-
We do not act as an emergency contact. If you have an emergency in Israel, dial 101 for medical services, 100 for police, or 102 for fire. Tourist police speak English. Your embassy is the next stop for serious legal trouble. Visit Israel does not maintain a 24/7 line.
-
We do not store user data. We do not keep accounts, saved trips, or visitor profiles. The site uses Plausible analytics — cookieless, no personal data, no cross-site tracking. See the privacy page for the full picture.

Israeli business days are Sunday through Thursday, plus Friday morning. Saturdays are Shabbat. National holidays follow the Jewish calendar — Passover, the High Holidays, and Hanukkah extend response times by a day or two.
If a week passes and you have not heard back, resend the email. We do not have a ticketing system; sometimes things slip.
